TRIO ALBA
Energji rinore, pasion në skenë dhe lojë bindëse, të gjitha të bazuara në njohuri të thella të perceptimit të zërit dhe strukturave të muzikës kamertale. Kështu do të mund të përshkruaje trion muzikore, e cila është bërë e njohur nga viti 2008 si TRIO ALBA.
Ata janë rritur dhe zhvilluar duke interpretuar nëpër botë në salla koncertale të mëdha dhe të vogla, përmes CD-produksioneve që kanë fituar çmime, si dhe përmes studimeve intensive të musikës kamertale në Universitetin e Muzikës dhe Performimit në Graz. Aty, janë takuar të tre anëtarët dhe formuan një lidhje për të bërë muzikë bashkë: violinistja gjermane Livia Sellin, çellisti austro-italian Phillipp Comploi dhe pianistja kinezo-austriake Chengcheng Zhao.
Me krijimin e ansamblit, ata filluan një program të përbashkët të studimeve master me Prof. Chia Chou, pianist I Trios Parnassus. Koncerti I tyre i parë i çoi ata në Shanghai dhe në Qendrën Kombëtare për Artet Performuese në Pekin. Kjo u përcoll nga ftesa për festivalle dhe seri të muzikës kamertale në Itali, Austri, Gjermani dhe Amerikë të Jugut, përfshirë këtu edhe Festivalin Badia Musica në Itali dhe Festivalin e muzikës kamertale të Gidon Kremer në Lockenhaus të Austrisë. Gjatë një turneu dy javor në Argjentinë, trio debutoi përpara një audience prej 2000 vetash në Teatro Gran Rex në Buenos Aires.
Ansambli ka arritur sukses në garat ndërkombëtare ‘’Schubert and Modern Music’’ në shkurt të vitit 2012. Interpretimi i tyre në rundin final mori aq shumë brohoritje nga ekspertët dhe nga publiku, duke rritur më pas dhe interesimin e publikut. Si rezultat, trioja më pas u angazhua për intepretimë debutuese në vende të njohura, përfshirë Musikverein të Graz-it dhe Vienna Konzerthaus.
CD e tyre e parë është publikuar nga kompania e njohur e muzikës klasike Dabringhaus dhe Grimm (MDG). Inçizimi i tyre i Piano Trios nga Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy ka marrë çmim pak kohë pas publikimit, çmimin Pastiçio Prize nga Austrian National Broadcasting (OE1).
Në verën e vitit 2014, Trioja ështe ftuar nga Festivali i Muzikës Kamertale në New York dhe Kanada, ku kanë interpretuar premierën botërore të Piano Trios së tretë nga Kelly-Marie Murphy, një vepër e kompozuar për TRIO ALBA.
Në vjeshtë të vitit 2014, CD e tyre e dytë nga kompania MDG, u lëshua në tred me Trio – Phantasie and Ballade për piano quartet nga Joseph Marx. Wen Xiao Zheng, violisti i parë i Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra ju bashkua për Baladën. Kjo CD ka marrë poashtu Pastiçio Prize nga Austrian National Broadcasting (OW1) në qershor të vitit 2015.
Në vitin 2015, trioja është zgjedhur në programin ‘’The Neë Austrian Sound of Music (NASOM)’’, që do të thotë që ata do të marrim mbështetje të veçantë nga Ministria e Punëve të Jashtme gjatë vitit 2016/17. Për t’u përmendur është fakti që në sezonën që po vjen, Trio do të debutojë në Vienna Musikverein dhe në Concertgebouw Amsterdam.
* TRIO ALBA – një aluzion i fjalës alba (italisht, lindja e diellit, agimi) dhe nga kënga suedeze ‘’se solen sjunker’’ që inspiroi Franz Schubert për kohën e dytë të Piano Trios në Es-Dur.

TRIO ALBA
Youthful vigour, passion on stage and compelling playfulness, all based on a profound knowledge of sound perception and chamber music structures. This is how you would describe the musical trinity, which has been known since 2008 as the TRIO ALBA*.
They have matured and developed through worldwide performances in small and large concert halls, through award-winning CD-productions as well as intensive chamber music studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz. There, the three met and found to a joint music-making: the German violinist Livia Sellin, the Austro-Italian cellist Philipp Comploi and the Chinese-Austrian pianist Chengcheng Zhao.
With the founding of the ensemble, they began a joint master‘s degree program with Prof. Chia Chou, pianist of the Trio Parnassus. First concerts took them to Shanghai and to the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Peking. This was followed by invitations to festivals and chamber music series in Italy, Austria, Germany, and South America, including the Festival Badia Musica, Italy and Gidon Kremer‘s Chamber Music Festival in Lockenhaus, Austria. During a two-week concert tour of Argentina, the trio debuted before an audience of 2000 in the Teatro Gran Rex in Buenos Aires.
The ensemble achieved suçess at the international competition „Schubert and Modern Music“ in February 2012. Their performance in the final round gained much açlaim from experts and audience, causing public interest to grow sharply thereafter. As a result, the trio was immediately engaged for debut appearances at distinguished venues, including the Musikverein of Graz and the Vienna Konzerthaus.
Their first CD was released by the renowned classical music label Dabringhaus and Grimm (MDG). Their recording of the Piano Trios of Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy was awarded shortly after release the Pastiçio Prize of the Austrian National Broadcasting (OE1).
In the summer of 2014, the Trio was invited to chamber music Festivals in New York and Canada, where they performed the world premiere of the third Piano Trio by Kelly-Marie Murphy, a work dedicated to the TRIO ALBA.
In the fall of 2014 their second CD under the MDG label was released with the Trio-Phantasie and Ballade for piano quartet from Joseph Marx. Wen Xiao Zheng, principal violist of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, joins them for the Ballade. This CD was also awarded the Pastiçio Prize of the Austrian National Broadcasting (OE1) in June 2015.
In 2015 the trio was elected in the programme „The New Austrian Sound of Music (NASOM)“ what means that they will receive special support by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in the 2016/17 biennium. Highlights of the coming season will include their debuts at the Vienna Musikverein and at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam.
* TRIO ALBA – an allusion to alba (ital. sunrise, dawn) and the Swedish song “se solen sjunker”, that inspired Franz Schubert to the second movement of his Piano Trio in E-flat major.
