Kosovo is a dynamic destination where tradition meets modern creativity, and its vibrant calendar of events reflects the country’s youthful energy and rich cultural roots. Among the standout happenings is Sunny Hill Festival in Pristina, a world-class music event founded by global pop icon Dua Lipa, which brings top international artists and thousands of fans to the capital each summer. Also gaining traction is NGOM Fest in Prizren, where music, nature, and activism come together in a unique blend, set against the stunning backdrop of the Sharr Mountains. For cinema lovers, the Dokufest International Documentary and Short Film Festival is a must-attend — turning the historic city of Prizren into a lively hub of film screenings, workshops, and late-night riverfront gatherings.
Kosovo also proudly celebrates its deep-rooted cultural heritage through events that honor its history and traditions. The Etno Fest in Kukaj village revives traditional rural life with folk music, artisanal crafts, and local cuisine in an authentic mountain setting. Meanwhile, Anibar Animation Festival in Peja showcases the power of animated storytelling, bringing together artists and audiences from across Europe. Whether you’re drawn by the sounds of global music, the depth of Balkan tradition, or the energy of emerging creatives, Kosovo’s events offer a fresh and unforgettable way to experience its unique identity and warm hospitality.

LIVE VIDEO RECORDING @ Hamam Bar Prishtina
FRIDAY, February 1, 2019. (door open: 19.00h Show Start: 20h)
Free Entry w/ limited seating. Reservations are a must at info@pedjabajovic.com
For the first time ever, a stand-up comedian from the South East Europe will be recording a television comedy special in English language. Believe it or not, this will take place – in Prishtina!
On Friday (Feb 1) – one of the founding fathers of the Balkans circuit, Pedja Bajović (Stand Up) will appear before the live audience and video cameras in Hamam Bar in Prishtina and do his best to make everyone laugh so hard that the important people from Netfilx or Comedy Central would hear it loud and clear!
Pedja is already part of the international circles of stand-up comedy. In more than a dozen of years of his career, he got to perform in more than 25 countries of the world, ranging from the U.S. and Canada all the way to Australia, across most of Europe. He was the first stand-up comedian from Eastern Europe to participate in the prestigious Seattle International Comedy Competition (2012) and equally sexy Funniest Person in the World Competition (2016). He even made it to Prishtina (at the same venue of Hamam Bar) in 2014 on his way back from Skopje where he was awarded the Best Stand-Up Veteran at the Adria Comedy Awards event.
The audience at the Hamam Bar will enjoy his Best Of selection in a one-hour performance where Pedja will be talking about the Balkans and the West: money… work… politics… food… music… fashion and then proceed towards more universal topics about men and the higher form of life aka women. There will be talks about airplanes, pets and farts. Deep stuff.
Please, save the date and now make your e-mail reservation for this once-in-years event! We will also ask you to RSVP it one day prior to the show as the seating is limited and we want to make sure everyone interested is well treated.
Once this show makes it big in the world, you will be able to say. “I was there. He wasn’t THAT funny!”
