Prishtina Jazz Week 2019
Pas suksesit të edicionit të parë, këtë vit do të organizohet edicioni i dytë i Prishtina Jazz Week, ku përveç performancave të muzikantëve të njohur ndërkombëtare që vijnë nga vendet e ndryshme si: Amerika, Turqia, Hungaria e rajoni, këtë vit gjatë këtyre katër ditëve do të organizohen diskutime, shfaqje të filmit për muzikën JAZZ, dhe punëtori që kanë të bëjnë me instrumentet të cilat përfaqësojnë muzikën e lartëpermundur.
Përgjatë viteve të fundit, skena e JAZZ-it në Prishtinë e ka përjetuar një zhvillim shumë pozitiv, gjë e cila dëshmohet përmes publikimit të disa xhaz albumeve origjinale, rritjes së bashkëpunimit në mes të muzikantëve vendor me ata ndërkombëtar, dhe rritjes së interesimit të publikut për evente me muzikë JAZZ. Ndonëse etja e publikur kosovar, e kryesisht e atij Prishtinas, për muzikë jazz e gjente përgjegjen në festivalin e përvitshëm të quajtur Prishtina Jazz Festival, ndalja e aktivitetit të këtij festivali në tre vitet e fundit e ka lënë një zbraztësi në qytet sa i përket kësaj shtrese në rritje të shoqërisë, dhe një mungesë të theksuar të performansave nga jazz muzikantë botëror në kryeqytet.
Krahas përgjegjës ndaj kërkesës së madhe për muzikë JAZZ në kryeqytet, ky festival gjithashtu ka për qëllim t’i ekspozojë artistët e rinj kosovar ndaj performancave kulminante të JAZZ-it nga muzikantë të njohur botërorë, në mënyrë që t’i inspirojë ata për të krijuar dhe për ta përmirësuar artin e tyre.
Falë punës se palodhshme të ekipes e cila qëndron mbrapa organizimit të festivalit, këtë vit me shumë kënaqësi do të prezanotjmë edicionin e dyte me emrin “PRISHTINA JAZZ WEEK 2019”, edicion i cili do të mbahet në hapësiren e ‘KINO ARMATA’ me datat 04-07 MARS.

After the success of the first edition, this year we will be having the second edition of the Prishtina Jazz Week. In addition to the performances of renowned international musicians coming from different countries (such as USA, Turkey, Hungary and Balkan countries) during these four days, we will have discussions, film screenings about JAZZ music, and workshops.
Over the last few years, the JAZZ scene in Prishtina has experienced a very positive development, which is evidenced by the publication of some original jazz albums, increased cooperation between local and international musicians, and increased public interest for events with JAZZ music. Though Kosovar public affection, mainly that of Pristina, jazz music lovers had the annual festival called Prishtina Jazz Festival, the ban on the activity of this festival in the last three years has left a gap in the city regarding this the growing layer of society, and a major lack of performances by jazz musicians in the capital.
In addition to being responsible for the big demand for jazz music in the capital, this festival is also intended to introduce Kosovar artists to the culminating jazz performances of world-renowned musicians, and inspire them to create and improve their art.
Thanks to the tireless work of the team behind the festival, this year we will be delighted to present the second edition entitled “PRISHTINA JAZZ WEEK” 2019″, edition which will be held in the “KINO ARMATA” space on 04, 05, 06, 07 MARCH.
