SFK | Software Freedom Kosova is the annual international conference held in Kosovo organized to promote free/libre open source software, free culture and open knowledge, now in its 8th edition and 10th anniversary (yaaay!).
It is organized by FLOSSK, a non governmental, not for profit organization, dedicated to promotion of software freedom and related philosophies. Almost all sessions will be held in English.
Entry is free, thanks to our partners and supporters, but you have to register in advance. Seating is first-come, first-served!
Program
We have compiled a diverse program of topics of interest of workshops held in the mornings and talks held in the afternoon, as well as socializing time so you get exposure time to our speakers.
We will start with School of FLOSS at Termokiss on Thursday morning, an intro level series of workshops aimed at beginners covering topics from HTML to Wikipedia editing. We will formally open the conference on Thursday evening with registration, a panel discussion, cocktail and a movie. Friday and Saturday will be two full days. In the mornings, we will hold hand-on workshops at Kino ARMATA and at the National Library of Kosovo. In the afternoons on Friday and Saturday, we will have 20 min talks back to back.
Space is limited so please register for these workshops and make sure to bring a laptop with you if you have one.
Please note that you must register separately for each workshop on Friday and Saturday but only once for the whole day of Thursday.
