Are you stressed about how to charge your electronic devices in Kosovo before your travels to Kosovo? Here are few tips: The voltage used in Kosovo is 220 Volts AC at 50HZ. Most power sockets are designed for a standard European 2 round prongs. Electrical appliances in Kosovo generally use the Western European standard plug with 2 square pins. Plug socket adaptors and power transformers are available and you can buy them in electrical shops or at some other small shops. Also, such adaptors can be found in Prishtina International Airport upon your arrival or Bus Station of Prishtina and all of the shopping malls across Kosovo.

Water

The quality of tap water in Kosovo is good and you can usually drink from taps that supply water to kitchen areas. However, we suggest you get bottled water that is widely available in all local grocery shops and supermarkets. Tap water in Kosovo is neither recommended nor banned from drinking. Basically, it is up to people to decide on this matter. Nevertheless, as a tourist visiting Kosovo, always consider the fact that water although drinkable elsewhere, it can still cause health issues due to the change of your geographical area, diet, and time zone.
