However\, the exercises offered in textbooks are in many cases not action-oriented and rarely associated with any of the four skills\, which makes them less effective. The purpose of this training is to show how to transform given exercises to meet the requirements of good teaching. We’ve all heard that before. But is that really true?\nWhat are girls or women and how are boys or men really? SUMMARY:Yoga for Mental Health and Depression
DESCRIPTION:Yoga can be as beneficial to practitioners’ mental health as it is to their physical condition. A focused yoga practice can serve as an effective means to support individuals dealing with the symptoms of depression and anxiety. These conditions can manifest through a variety of debilitating characteristics. In this workshop we will explore a restorative sequence of asanas that facilitate deep relaxation and aid in a good nights sleep. This approach is suited to those suffering from lethargy and depleted energy levels. Additionally we will introduce practices that address agitation and restlessness associated with anxiety. Through gentle flowing sequences and breath work that cultivates a sense of balance\, clarity and stability these symptoms can be considerably reduced. This workshop provides teachers and practitioners with the building blocks to construct yoga sequences that are accessible to those experiencing the discomfort and isolation of depression. \nZara Syed is a Londond based yoga teacher with focus on Ayurvedic Yoga. Seh holds an MA in Traditions of Yoga and Meditation. DESCRIPTION:For every booking above 600 Euro Balkan Natural Adventure will fund at least 15 litres of rubbish removal from the Peaks of the Balkans Trail.\nWe will start our cleaning on 4th of May. We will meet everyone who wants to join next to the Visitor Center in Peja at 9:00. We will hike and collect trash in the trail to Liqenat. We call this activity Plokking (visit our site to learn why). Depending from the number of pople joining we will also be in the Via Ferrata and Hajla trail. Join us for a day and follow the example of our star guides Arineta and Adriatik in the photo. DESCRIPTION:[English Below]\nI bëjmë thirrje të gjithë gazetarëve\, redaksive dhe qytetarëve të na bashkohen në fushatën tonë\, Jo Pyetje Pa Përgjigje. \nK2.0 bashkë me gazetarë nga 10 organizata mediale\, kanë monitoruar konferencat për shtyp të Kryeministrit Ramush Haradinaj\, Presidentit Hashim Thaçi\, Kryesisë së Kuvendit të Kosovës\, Policisë dhe Zyrës së Prokurorit. \nPër pesë muaj i monitoruam 52 nga 62 konferenca formale për shtyp që u mbajtën nga këto institucione. Tetë prej tyre nuk ishin të hapura për pyetje. Këto konferenca\, në në të cilat nuk u lejuan pyetjet\, i trajtuan disa çështje të ndjeshme si greva e mësuesve e deri tek taksa 100 përqindëshe mbi produktet serbe. \nGjatë kësaj periudhe\, këto institucione iu drejtuan publikut në më shumë se 1\,000 postime në Facebook nëpërmjet faqeve zyrtare. Kjo do të thotë se për çdo konferencë për shtyp të mbajtur ishin 16 postime në Facebook. \nPër dekada\, konferencat për shtyp kanë shërbyer si një forum ku politikanët i janë ekspozuar pyetjeve të papritura para mediave. Janë hapësirë ku mund të kërkohen përgjigje kyçe\, të ekspozohen politikanët\, të kërkohet llogari prej tyre në publik dhe të shtrohen pyetjet jetike që shpeshherë mbesin pa përgjigje në komunikime me email dhe telefon. \nNëpërmjet punës sonë monitoruese dhe bisedave me gazetarët\, ne e kemi parë se si kjo vegël shumë e rëndësishme po shpërfillet jo vetëm nga politikanët\, por edhe nga zyrtarët për shtyp në institucione publike. E kjo\, duhet të ndryshojë. \nNë Ditën Botërore të Lirisë së Shtypit\, më 3 maj në orën 13:00\, ejani në lansimin e “Jo Pyetje Pa Përgjigje” në oborrin e K2.0. Gazetarë\, punëtorë të mediave dhe ata/ato për të cilët ne punojmë\, qytetarët\, të gjithë janë të ftuar të marrin pjesë në këtë ngjarje! \nAty do të na bashkohen: \nBesa Luci — kryeredaktore në Kosovo 2.0\nTaulant Osmani — gazetar në BIRN / anëtar i ekipit hulumtues\nSaranda Ramaj — gazetare në Koha / anëtare e ekipit hulumtues\nKreshnik Gashi — gazetar hulumtues / moderator në Drejtësia në Kosovë \nDiskutimi do të moderohet nga Aurela Kadriu\, autore e hulumtimit \nDo të ketë përkthim shqip/anglisht.\nKjo ngjarje realizohet me mbështetjen e Ambasadës së Mbretërisë së Holandës në Kosovë.\n————\nWe are calling upon all journalists\, newsrooms and citizens to join us in our effort\, Jo Pyetje Pa Përgjigje (No Questions Without Answers). \nK2.0\, together with journalists from 10 media organizations\, has been monitoring the press conferences of Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj\, President Hashim Thaçi\, the Presidency of the Assembly of Kosovo\, the Police and the Prosecutor’s Office. \nOver a period of five months we monitored 52 out of 62 formal press conferences held by these institutions. Eight of them were not open for questions. The topics of those press conferences without questions tackled a variety of sensitive issues\, from the past teacher’s strike to the 100% tax on Serbian products. \nIn the same period\, the same institutions addressed the public in more than 1\,000 Facebook posts through official pages alone. That means that for every press conference held\, there have been 16 posts on Facebook. \nFor decades\, press conferences have been a forum where politicians are exposed to unexpected questions in front of the media. They are a space where you can push for key answers\, ask follow ups\, expose a politician\, hold them to account in public and ask critical questions that often go unanswered in email or phone communication. \nThrough the monitoring work we have done\, and through talks with journalists\, we see how this tool of great importance is neglected not only by politicians\, but also by press officers in public institutions. This must change. \nOn Freedom of the Press Day\, May 3 at 13:00\, join us at the launch of “Jo Pyetje Pa Përgjigje\,” at K2.0 garden. SUMMARY:Protest for May 1 / Protestë për 1 Maj - Sabota
DESCRIPTION:Protestë për 1 maj – Sabota \nPër 1 maj\, Ditën e Punës\, mblidhemi të protestojmë punëtorë e të papunë. Protestojmë kundër vrasjes e shtypjes sistematike të punëtorëve\, përbuzjes e ngacmimit\, skllavërimit e dëshpërimit kolektiv që ne\, punëtorët e punëtoret\, e përjetojmë çdo ditë në punë dhe jashtë saj. Rroga prej 130 euro\, e papaguar dhe e vonuar\, oraret e stërzgjatura\, lëndimet dhe vdekjet\, janë disa nga arsyet pse kjo ditë kërkon protestë e rezistencë dhe jo piknik. \nPërgjatë vitit 2018 e deri më sot 31 punëtorë zyrtarisht kanë humbur jetën\, 6 prej tyre këtë vit\, ndërsa janë lënduar me dhjetra të tjerë. Ndërkohë\, janë dhënë miliarda euro për autostrada të reja\, ndërsa rryma tenton të shtrenjtohet përderisa pritet të krijohet termocentrali i ri privat. Kapitali ndërkombëtar dhe vendor është rritur\, por qeveria refuzon të rrisë rrogën minimale. Konsumi dhe apatia kanë kapluar hapësirat publike dhe jetën private. Pushteti është bërë edhe më shtypës. \nGratë punëtore me apo pa kontratë pune shtypen çdo ditë nga patriarkati i institucionalizuar. Gratë punëtore në Kosovë shtypen dyfish në krahasim me punëtorët burra. Por vetëm 12.3% e grave në Kosovë janë të punësuara me pagë. Në vendin e punës diskriminohen\, nënvlerësohen\, objektifikohen\, ngacmohen seksualisht dhe në të njëjtën kohë paguhen më pak sesa burrat. Gratë punëtore\, puna shtëpiake e të cilave nuk vlerësohet dhe nuk paguhet\, të papunësuara\, e shumë prej tyre të punësuara në ekonominë jo-formale\, çdo ditë poshtërohen nga diskriminimi gjinor në treg të punës që i lë me paga të ulëta dhe të varura nga burrat. \nPërderisa sindikatat vazhdojnë të flenë\, Kolektivi i Qendrës Sociale Sabota\, Kolektivi për Mendim dhe Veprim Feminist dhe Grupi Anarko-Sindikalist i Prishtinës organizohen për protestën e 1 majit jo vetëm kundër shtypjës në vend të punës\, por edhe kundër logjikës së kapitalizmit prej të cilës buron kjo shtypje. \nPaga minimale duhet rritur\, minimumi jetik duhet përcaktuar dhe siguruar\, sigurimet shoqërore dhe shëndetësore duhet të paguhen nga çdo punëdhënës për çdo punëtor të tijin dhe gratë e burrat duhen trajtuar në mënyrë të barabartë në vendin e punës. Pushimi i lehonisë dhe pushimi prindëror duhet të jetë i siguruar dhe i paguar nga punëdhënësi si për gratë ashtu edhe për burrat. Kodi i punës duhet respektuar\, orët shtesë të punës duhet të paguhen shtesë\, e fundjava duhet t’i takojë punëtorit/es për t’ia përkushtuar vetes dhe familjes. Sindikatat ekzistuese duhet t’i mbështesin fort këto kërkesa\, përndryshe sindikata të reja duhet të formohen për avancimin e këtyre kërkesave për punë me dinjitet. \nPrandaj\, i thërrasim të gjithë punëtorët/et e të papunë/a\, studentë/e\, pensionistë/e\, të rinjë dhe të reja\, të ngrihemi së bashku në solidaritet dhe rezistencë kundër pagave të mjerueshme dhe varfërisë\, shfrytëzimit\, shkeljeve dhe pabarazive\, privatizimit\, abuzimit\, racizmit\, seksizmit\, homofobisë\, transfobisë\, ksenofobisë dhe vrasjes që vijnë nga ky sistem shtypës. Le të jetë kjo thirrje për solidaritet shoqëror dhe për një shoqëri të lirë dhe të barabartë. \nVend takimi: Ora 12:00 – Amfiteatri në sheshin “Zahir Pajaziti”. \nKjo thirrje është pjesë e protestës ku do të marshojmë së bashku me grupe/blloqe tjera.

Kohëve të fundit janë evidentuar qindra dhe mijëra deponi ilegale. Po thujase të gjithë lumenjt e Kosovës janë të ndotur ose janë shfrytëzuar ilegalisht\, ndërsa mijëra hektar pyje janë prerë dhe djegur.\nHedhja e mbeturinave është dukuri e përditshme edhe në Parkun e Gërmisë. Me gjithë punën e Ndërmarrjes Hortikultura shumë vende të Parkut janë të ndotura. \nPrandaj\, Gërmia 555 do të mblidhet për ta shënuar këtë ditë duke e mbledhur mbeturina. DESCRIPTION:Chopin Piano FEST “Prishtina” is established for the first time on the 200th anniversary of Chopin in 2010 by the established Kosovo Chopin Association as the youngest member of the International Federation of Chopin Associations\, part of UNESCO. http://www.ifcs.pl/?lang=en\nThe planned 10th jubilee edition of the Chopin Piano FEST Prishtina 2019 will gather as usual distinguished local and international pianists performing not only Chopin works\, but also other well known composers\, classical and contemporary ones that have composed for piano solo and usual piano music ensembles.\n The high artistic level of the programme is as usually prepared by our artistic director Prof. Lejla Haxhiu-Pula\, a distinguished pianist in Kosovo\, and will offer new insights into piano music repertoire as shown in last editions that hosted great world pianists. Our aim with the Chopin Piano FEST is not simply to offer new names\, but also bring to Kosovo best musicians from various places\, establish friendship and network\, since it has been said so many times- music connects people in simplest way.\nOur  program for 2019  includes musicians from Kosovo\, Albania\, Macedonia\,France\,  Austria\, Germany\, Switzerland\, Italy\, Hungary\, Norway\, UK and Russia.  We need your cooperation and support to enable their participation in our festival\, and establish bridges for communication and cooperation with their colleagues from Kosovo\, while sharing their high-level performances with Kosovo audience\, and exchange the new trends and developments in artistic piano performance trends.\nThis year our education component increases with more concerts\, lectures\, workshops\, masterclasses and a special ChopinPianoFEST prize for one young pianist will continue\, with the help of sponsorship offered by Mr. Herbert Groeger\,  through initiative by our Kosovar pianist Ardita Statovci\, The prize includes a concert recital for the young Kosovo pianist in Germany\, the hometown of a selected composer\, therefore the concert shall include works of the selected composer and  Masterclass in a selected German University. This unique opportunity for a young Kosovo pianist to be able to perform before international audiences motivates young pianists studying in Kosovo to master further their piano skills and establish their piano performance career.
