Institute for Accounting\, Auditing and Finance (KAF) \nGlobus College and this Workshop aim to bring scholars and researchers from different disciplines and countries together and elaborate achievements. \nAgenda:\n17 November 2017\, (10.00 – 13.00h)\, College GLOBUS\, Prishtina Campus\n\nMotivation\nYouth unemployment rates are particularly high across Kosovo and region. We believe that through education and training in transferable and entrepreneurial skills young people will be better equipped to compete for jobs\, become self-employed and contribute to the innovative and competitive ability of a employer’s organization. The development of transferable skills requires new creative ways of teaching and learning\, and inclusion of practical world experience. This workshop aims to describe entrepreneurship as a process that goes beyond the identification and teaching of competences. Provides information that knowledge acquisition and development of attitudes and intentions are fundamental to the process of entrepreneurship and the expression of entrepreneurship behavior and outcomes.\nTherefore\, the aim of our College is to organize a workshop on “Entrepreneurship as a career choice of Kosovar youth” as part of activities during Global Entrepreneurship Week 2017. \nGOALS OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION:\na) Short term:\n• Develop entrepreneurial knowledge and skills\n• Increase awareness for entrepreneurship as a possible carrier option\n• Experience entrepreneurship in a safe environment\nb) Long term:\n• Development entrepreneurship\n• Reduce costs of unsuccessful start-ups\n• Increase entrepreneurial behavior of entire workforce \nTOPICS OF THE WORKSHOP:\n• Public entrepreneurship policy;\n• Is entrepreneurship treated as a key competence/skill at school/university?\n• How open are schools/university to “include” the “business world”?\n• Has there been any “revolution” in the education/training system? Kjo masterklasë është e treta me radhë e organizuar në kornizën e projektit “Shikimi nga brenda dhe shikimi nga jashtë” që fokusohet në kujtesën e viteve të ‘90a\, politika\, kultura\, lëvizjet shoqërore\, aktivizmi\, etj. \nAbstrakti i prezantimit:\nMes tjerash\, transicioni në demokraci në vitet e fundit të ish-Jugosllavisë u shpërfaq përmes ngritjes së etno-nacionalizmit\, rëndom të zbatuar si praktikë denigruese diskursive karshi ‘tjetrit në afërsi’ – si pjesë e një meta-narracioni në ardhje\, atij të ‘Europianitetit’ shoqërisë së caktuar. Ishte kjo periudhë e ‘konstruktimit negativ’ të identitetit kombëtar (Benhabib\, 1995)\, e urrejtjes etnike dhe e përthjeshtësimeve historike. \nKëtu pohoj se narrativë të tillë bazoheshin në një premisë të idealizuar të origjinës etnike të një kombi të interpretuar si dëshmi historikisht e gjurmueshme e përputhshmërinë kulturore të tij me paradigmën e ‘Perëndimit’ si formacion i synuar socio-politik dhe socio-kulturor. \nGjatë fundviteve 1980 dhe fillimviteve 1990\, mbizotërimi i narrativëve të tillë i hapi udhë përplasjes diskursive mes kombeve etnike të ish-federatës jugosllave që përpiqeshin ta ndërlidhin gjenealogjinë e demokracisë bashkëkohore evropiane me fillet e shtetit-komb dhe nacionalizmin përjashtues (ekskluzionist). \nPërpjekjet e tilla\, të interpretimit të aspiratave të sotme politike përmes një re-interpretimi të vazhdueshëm të së kaluarës prodhoi një tipar të veçantë të retorikës etno-nacionaliste të ish-Jugosllavisë të kësaj periudhe. Asokohe\, nga pranuesit dhe zbatuesit e kësaj retorike kërkohej të bashkëjetojnë brenda një koncepti të relativizuar të ‘së tashmes’ dhe të ‘së kaluarës’\, kësisoj duke e çrregulluar thellësisht hierarkinë e ‘rendit të gjërave’ (Foucault\, 1966) karshi sistemit socio-politik i cili synohej formalisht – atij të ‘demokracisë perëndimore’. Kjo retorikë kërkonte nga ta që ta fitojnë të ardhmen përmes kthimit në kohë; kërkonte që\, përmes rimendimit të së kaluarës të mundësohej faktimi i dëshmisë supreme që do t’i legjitimonte aspiratat e tyre të tashme. \nKësisoj\, sado paradoksale që mund të tingëllojë\, urrejtja etnike\, agresionet ushtarake dhe konfliktet e armatosura në ish-Jugosllavi ishin nisur në emër të përkatësisë ‘demokratike’ dhe ‘perëndimore’ të njërit komb karshi tjetrit i cili rëndom privohej nga e njëjta duke u cilësuar ‘despotik’ apo ‘lindor’. Pa dyshim\, një periudhë e zbatimit destruktiv dhe makabër të ‘orientalizmit të përbrendësuar’ (Said\, 1978; Bakic-Hayden\, 1996; Todorova\, 1995 et al). \nKjo ngjarje dhe ky projekt organizohet nga forumZFD – programi në Kosovë dhe Programi për Studime dhe Hulumtime Gjinore në Universitetin e Prishtinës\, dhe mbështet nga Ministria Federale për Bashkëpunim dhe Zhvillim Ekonomik e qeverisë Gjermane. \n***\nEng. \nBack to the future: Ethno-nationalism as a solution to the legitimation crisis of the last days of Yugoslavia \nThe masterclass titled “Back to the future: Ethno-nationalism as a solution to the legitimation crisis of the last days of Yugoslavia” is led by Dr. Dukagjin Gorani (short bio. http://bit.ly/2ApmReP). This masterclass is the third event organized in the framework of “Inside Out and Outside in” Project\, that focuses on the memory of the ’90\, politics\, culture\, social movements\, activism\, etc. \nAbstract of the presentation:\nTransition to democracy in the former Yugoslavia was introduced through the rise of ethnic-nationalisms\, commonly applied as a derisive discursive practice against the ‘immediate other’ as part of the upcoming meta-narrative about one’s ‘Europeanness’. It was an age of ‘negative construction’ of one’s national identity [Benhabib\, 1995]\, of ethnic hatred and historical simplifications. \nI argue that such narratives were based on an idealized premise of one’s ethnic origin as historically-traceable evidence of cultural compatibility with the aspired paradigm of ‘the West’ as both socio-political and socio-cultural formation. \nDuring the fall of the 1980s and early 1990s\, such prevailing narratives ushered a peculiar discursive competition among ethnic nations of the former federation as they interlinked the condition of contemporary European democracy with that of the early nation-state and the exclusionist nationalism. \nSuch attempts to interpret the present-day political aspirations through an ideologically ever-adjusting view of the past produced a unique feature of the former-Yugoslav ethnonationalist rhetoric of the times. It demanded from its recipients to dwell within relativized temporal concepts of ‘the present’ and ‘the past’ while heavily disrupting the hierarchical ‘order of things’ [Foucault\, 1966] within a socio-political value-system which was formally aspired – i.e. ‘western democracy’. It demanded from them to seize the future through going back in time; to reach for a nation’s past as a supreme evidence for the legitimation of its present aspirations. \nHence\, as paradoxical as it may sound\, the ethnic hatred\, military agression and armed conflicts in the former Yugoslavia were launched and waged on behalf of one’s ‘democracy’ and ‘westernness’ as opposed to the other’s ‘despotism’ and ‘easternness’. Undoubtedly\, a destructive and macabre exercise of ‘internalised orientalism’ [Said\, 1978; Bakic-Hayden\, 1996; Todorova 1995\, et al]. \nThis event is organized by forumZFD – Kosovo Program and University Program for Gender Studies and Research\, University of Prishtina\, with the support from the German Federal Ministry for Cooperation and Economic Development. \n(Simultaneous translation will be provided)\n\n\n\nKid Friendly

DESCRIPTION:Për herë të tretë në Kosovë do të shënohet aktiviteti tashmë tradicional#WDR2017 \n17 Nëntori 2017 është e diela e tretë e muajit e cila shënon Ditën Botërore për Përkujtimin e Viktimave në Trafikun Rrugor. Kjo ditë shënohet me qëllim të përkujtimit të miliona njerëzve që humbin jetën në aksidentet rrugore\, por njëkohësisht edhe për mbështetje ndaj familjarëve të viktimave. Aksidentet e trafikut tash e sa vite nuk janë sfidë vetëm e shoqërisë dhe vendit tonë\, por një shqetësim i madh global\, i cili në shumicën e vendeve të botës është vrasësi më i madh i njerëzve. \nAktivitetet për shënimin e Ditës Botërore për Përkujtimin e Viktimave në Trafikun Rrugor sikurse edhe viteve tjera do të koordinohen nga Kolegji i Shkencave të Aplikuara Teknike “Tempulli” dhe partnerët e Forumit të Kosovës për siguri në rrugë.\n\n\nFree Admission
