DESCRIPTION:(English below) \nDiaspora e Kosovës ka luajtur një rol të rëndësishëm për të mbështetur mirëqenien e atyre në atdhe. Nga mbledhja e fondeve dhe lobimi ndërkombëtar për të drejtat e shqiptarëve të Kosovës që jetonin nën regjimin shtypës gjatë viteve ’90\, në subvencionimin e anëtarëve të familjes dhe investimin në shtetin e pasluftës dhe pas pavarësisë. \nSot\, me remitencat e diasporës që përbëjnë 16 përqind të PBB-së së Kosovës\, roli i diasporës në mendjet e shumë njerëzve duket se ka evoluar duke u konsideruar pothuajse ekskluzivisht si një burim financiar. Ndërkohë\, me qëllim të organizimit të diasporës së saj dhe për të pasur kontakt të vazhdueshëm me të\, Kosova ka themeluar Ministrinë e Diasporës dhe Investimeve Strategjike. \nPor profili i diasporës ka ndryshuar me kalimin e kohës. Pas ‘Gastarbeiters’ të viteve ’60 dhe ’70 dhe atyre që kërkonin azil në vitet e ’90\, një fytyrë e re e diasporës është duke u zhvilluar\, pasi një numër i konsiderueshëm i qytetarëve të Kosovës po ndjekin zhvillimin e tyre akademik dhe profesional jashtë vendit. Ashtu si qytetarët kosovarë në shtëpi\, shumë nga ata që janë larguar\, po bëhen gjithnjë e më të frustruar me mungesën e përparimit në zhvillimin e një shteti plotësisht funksional. \nËshtë koha për të parë përtej pyetjes “A është më mirë këtu apo atje?” dhe të njohim realitetet komplekse dhe shumë-shtresore të kosovarëve që jetojnë jashtë shtetit\, shpesh referuar si një kolektiv i thjeshtë dhe i përkufizuar posaçërisht me termin pezhorativ ‘Schatzi’\, si dhe të kuptojmë marrëdhëniet e tyre me Kosovën. \nA do të njihen ndonjëherë anëtarët e diasporës më shumë se si thjesht një burim financiar? Çfarë mund të kontribuojnë studentët që studiojnë jashtë shtetit në kapitalin intelektual të Kosovës për zhvillim? Cili është saktësisht roli i Ministrisë së Diasporës dhe Investimeve Strategjike? Cilat janë përvojat e anëtarëve të diasporës me institucionet kosovare? A janë adresuar siç duhet të drejtat dhe shqetësimet politike të pjesëtarëve të diasporës? Çfarë kanë bërë institucionet e Kosovës për të shfrytëzuar potencialin e diasporës? \nTë enjten\, më 19 korrik\, në orën 18:00 do të diskutojmë të gjitha këto çështje dhe më shumë në bashkëbisedimin tonë të shkurtër që do të mbahet në Innovation Centre Kosovo\, (rr. Rexhep Mala 28A. Prishtinë\, Kosovë). \nPër të nisur diskutimin kemi ftuar:\n– Afrim Bekteshi – Zëvendës Ministër i Diasporës dhe Investimeve Strategjike\n– Liza Gashi – Drejtore Ekzekutive e Germin (OJQ e cila përdorë teknologji dhe kanale virtuale për të lidhur dhe angazhuar anëtarët e Ballkanit Perëndimor të diasporës në avancimin e zhvillimit dhe demokratizimit të vendeve të tyre të origjinës)\n– Osman Osmani – Kryetari i shoqatës profesionale “Prointegra.ch” të Zvicrës (shoqatë e cila është ndërtuar nga profesionistë me prejardhje nga Kosova për çështje migracioni)\n– Adem Ferizaj – MA në Marrëdhëniet ndërkombëtare\, Instituti i Studimeve Politike të Parisit (Sciences Po Paris)\, i rritur në Gjermani \nDiskutimi do të moderohet nga Eraldin Fazliu. \n————-\nKosovo’s diaspora has long played a vital role in supporting the well-being of those back home. From collecting funds and lobbying internationally for the rights of Kosovar Albanians living under an oppressive regime during the ’90s\, to subsidising family members and investing in the post-war and post-independence state. \nToday\, with diaspora remittances making up 16 percent of Kosovo’s GDP\, the role of the diaspora in many people’s minds seems to have evolved into being considered almost exclusively a financial resource. In the meantime\, aiming to organize its diaspora and reach out to them\, Kosovo has established the Ministry of Diaspora and Strategic Investments. \nBut the profile of the diaspora has changed with the times. After the ‘Gastarbeiters’ of the ’60s and ’70s and those seeking refuge in the ’90s\, a new face of the diaspora is now emerging as a considerable number of Kosovar citizens pursue their academic and professional development abroad. And\, just like Kosovar citizens at home\, many of those who have left have become increasingly frustrated with a lack of progress in developing a fully functioning state. \nSo often referred to as a simple collective and derogatorily dubbed ‘Schatzis\,’ it’s time to look beyond the ‘Is it better here or there?’ And to recognize the complex\, multi-layered realities of Kosovars living overseas\, and their relationship with Kosovo. \nWill members of the diaspora ever be acknowledged as more than a mere financial resource? What can students studying abroad add to Kosovo’s intellectual capital for development? What exactly is the role of the Ministry of Diaspora and Strategic Investments? What are the experiences of members of the diaspora when it comes to dealing with Kosovar institutions? Are the political rights and concerns of members of the diaspora being properly addressed? What have Kosovo’s institutions done to utilize the diaspora’s potential? \nOn Thursday\, July 19\, at 18:00 we will discuss all of these issues and more in our latest participative Small Talk\, held at Innovation Centre Kosovo (Rexhep Mala Str. 28A Prishtina\, Kosovo). \nTo initiate the discussion\, we will be joined by:\n– Afrim Bekteshi – Deputy Minister for Diaspora and Strategic Investments\n– Liza Gashi – Executive director of Germin (an NGO that uses technology and virtual channels to connect and engage Western Balkan members of the diaspora in advancing the development and democratization of their home countries).\n– Osman Osmani – Chairman of the professional association “Prointegra.ch” from Switzerland (an association built by professionals from Kosovo for migration issues)\n– Adem Ferizaj – Brought up in Germany\, has an MA in International Relations at Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po Paris) \nThe discussion will be moderated by Eraldin Fazliu. Prej aty\, kohëzgjatja e vozitjes për në fshatin Brod zgjatë rreth 30 minuta. \nENGLISH \nInvitation \nWe have the pleasure to inform you that on 4th and 5th Aug 2018\, the NGO Hiking Njeri from Kosovo organizes the 5th edition of camping and hiking “Camp ‘n’ Hike 2018” event on the peak of Maja e Njerit / Great Rudoka 2\,658 m\, located in the ranges of Rudoka in southern Sharr\, near the village Brod of Dragash. \nThe purpose of this event is to conquer this peak by all mountain lovers from Kosovo and the region. Also\, through this event Hiking Njeri aims to promote mountaineering and cooperation between mountaineer associations.\nThe event will take place near hotel Arxhena and Town Rock in the outskirts of Brod.\nTo participate in the event “Camp and Hike to Maja e Njerit” we kindly ask you to bring your tent\, on Saturday 4 Aug 2018 from 10:00am onwards.\nWe also offer you a place in our 3 person tents (15 EU per tent\, 5 EU per person)\nTo book the place in the camp\, please write to us at: \nbeni@hikingnjeri.com or call on 045 834 141 (viber) \nParticipation is 15 EU per person plus the tent space \nIf you wish to stay in rooms of the hotel located adjacent from the camping area\, you can book the accommodation at Hotel Arxhena by phone: +381 29 285 170 mobile: 044 402 368 and email: info@arxhena.com. \nIf you wish to reserve your place in a bus that will take off from Prishtina Sunny Hill Tennis courts at 0700 Saturday (4th of Aug) directly to Brod camping area\, please call the numbers. The ticket costs 15 EUR per person. \nThe program of the activity \nSaturday 4th of Aug\, 2018 \n10:00 – 17:00 – placement of the tents\n19:00 – opening ceremony of the event “Camp and Hike to Mans Peak” at hotel Arxhena\n20:00 – entertainment evening in camp and hotel Arxhena\n23:00 – closure of program \nSunday 5th of August\, 2018 \n07:00 – awake and breakfast\n08:30 – departure to Maja e Njerit toward Zllipotoku (Prroi i keq)\n14:00 – return from Maja e Njerit through Lake of Shutman and “Bacilla”.\n19:00 – returning to camp \nAdditional information \nRecommended equipment for the mountaineers: \nRain jacket\, hiking shoes\, backpack\, hat\, eye glasses\, some shirts\, water\, food\, sun-protection cream\, short or long pants\, small knife\, light-lamp.\nBrod is one of the most southern villages of Kosovo.
