In 2011 they released a 7″inch EP via Sweet Mistake Productions/Fractal Press and the same year their track “You’re Gonna Hate Me” was included in the compilation Reverb Conspiracy vol. 1″ released from Fuzz Club Records in collaboration with Austin Psych Festival. \nDuring 2013 they opened the gigs of bands such as The Black Angels\, Moon Duo\, Dirty Beaches and Disappears. \nTheir debut album “Distractions” was released via Inner Ear in April 2014. In 2015 Pantelis Karasevdas (drums) joined the band. The second album is called “FREAKTOWN” and it’s out now via Inner Ear Records and The Fuzz Club Records’ web store. \nSTORY \nSome things are not meant to be heard\, cause there aren’t any words to describe them. They’re just unexplored feelings without names. \nVangelis\, who from now on we will call him V\, was a naive young man\, tired from the continuous insecurity of everyday life. One day V\, decided to record and upload an EP on Soundcloud under the name “ A Victim Of Society ”. Things would change forever from that moment on. \nPeople heard V’s music\, some loved it and some hated it. Fotis\, which from now on we will call him F\, belonged to the “hate” category. In a peculiar way\, F\, after a while\, would became the main guitarist of the band A Victim Of Society and he loved to be a part of it. \nAs a duo\, they have given birth to their first baby caled “Distractions”. V\, F and “Distractions” were very happy and curious for the future. They traveled a lot\, they’ve been to Berlin\, Rome\, Skopje\, but they always returned to their hometown\, Athens. In Athens they have shared souvlakia with Steve Selly in Exarcheia\, while he was a member of Disappears. They chatted with Alex from The Black Angels about old romances. They got drunk with Alex and Francesco from Dirty Beaches and they end up hugging tightly. \nYears passed by quickly\, some friends stayed\, some friends left. One of them\, Pantelis\, which from now on we will call P\, never left. P\, had two drum sticks for hands and as you can imagine he was pretty good at banging random things with enormous energy. One day P\, joined V and F at a noisy jam session that the latter casually used to have. They got together to make another baby. And the baby wasn’t a boy nor a girl. It is fast and strong\, loud and weird and they continue raising it free from the thoughts of everyday’s insecurities. And they named it “FREAKTOWN”. Andi është fitues i shumë çmimeve brenda dhe jashtë shtetit. Disa prej çmimeve që ai ka fituar janë: fitues i garave te Ars Kosova 2017\, si dhe fitues i cmimit Akil Koci\, Fitues i garave “Pianisti i ri”\, çmimet talenti muzikor\, çmimi i virtuozitetit\, çmimi i parë në garat “Pianisti i ri” në Tiranë. Fitues i audicionit të Berlinit\, ku në prill të 2016 performoi në sallen kamertale të Filharmonisë së Berlinit. Është aktiv me koncerte brenda dhe jashtë shtetit. Ka performuar në shtete të ndryshme si: Gjermani\, France\, Itali\, Zvicerr etj. Ka mbajtur masterklase me pianistë të njohur si: Eldar Nebolsin\, Stephen Prutsman\, Christopher Hinterhuber etj. \nAndi Duraku – Piano\nAndi Duraku\, born in Gjakova on March 4th 1997\, finished primary and high school in his hometown with professor Besim Qorri\, whilst at the moment he is a student of prof. Lejla Pula\, at the Academy of Music in the Unviersity of Prishtina. Andi is a winner of multiple awards in and out of the country. Some of the awards include: winner of ArsKosova Music Competition for Youth in 2017\, also winner of ‘’Akil Koci’’ prize\, winner of ‘’Pianisti I Ri’’ in Prishtina\, the musical talent awards\, virtuosity award\, first prize of ‘’Pianisti I Ri’’ in Tirana etc. He won the Berlin auditions in Kosovo\, which included a performance in the chamber music hall of the Berliner Philharmonie. Andi is playing concerts actively in and outside Kosovo. Ensemble’s premiere was during the 6th Edition of Kamerfest Festival 2007\, in the authorial concert of the Croatian composer Sanja Drakulic. They also performed during the 10th anniversary of Kamerfest Festival 2010 with the Turkish conductor\, Maestro Hakan Sensoy.\nIn KamerFest 2015 ensemble performed with well known US pianist\, 1st prize winner of “Queen Elizabeth Competition1990” Stephen Prutsman.\nDuring last year’s edition the ensemble was accompanied by honoured guests: Frank Sumner Dodge\, American cellist\, founder and artistic director of SPECTRUM CONCERTS USA/BERLIN\,and SMERALD SPAHIJA\, Albanian violinist\, concert maestro of Symphony orchestra of Palma de Majorca/Spain.
