DESCRIPTION:Spring University for Diplomacy and International Relations\, 2nd edition \nThe Academy for Protocol and Diplomacy\, have a great pleasure to invite you to participate at this sessions of Spring University which will be held in Prishtina\, Kosovo. \nCourse description: \nThe overall aim of this course will be to introduce students to the art of diplomacy in the Western tradition with an emphasis on the beginning of the 19th century through to contemporary international politics. In particular\, the course will stress the evolution of the Ambassador’s role over time and how such factors as technology\, communications and ideology have impacted the efficacy of the diplomatic process. Students will be shown the relationship of diplomacy to the political system\, especially how the MFA and Ambassador’s role is rooted in constitutions and international norms. The course will provide a clear account of the shape and functions of the world diplomatic system as it stands at the beginning of the 21st century: what it is\, what it does\, and why it is important. The course aims to provide knowledge of the nature of diplomacy; when diplomacy is appropriate; the advantages and disadvantages of different diplomatic methods; and the lexicon of diplomacy. Students will be given a strong grasp of the nature of diplomacy conceived as a specialized professional activity developed over many centuries\, and be able to defend its value with authority and enthusiasm. \nReadings and Assignments \nThe course will not have a final exam. Instead\, students will be expected to raise a series of short papers/topics throughout the sessions\, engage in two in-class debate and participation activities. \nThe final paper shall be an examination of one particular diplomatic paper and a crisis that he or she dealt with. Former classes consisted of regular students and practitioners such as civil servants\, communication experts\, EU Institutions employee\, young politicians and even parliamentary officials.\nThe course does not require special knowledge about international relations\, diplomacy\, international negotiations\, history or culture\, but participants should be interested in more than just their field of specialization. DESCRIPTION:Përshëndetje hikera\, \nju informojmë se Hiking Njeri këtë të Diele më 22 prill do të organizoj për herë të parë ecjen me grup për në majën e Vraces së Madhe 2585m.\nVraca e madhe është një ndër 2 majet më jugore të Sharrit dhe Kosovës\, dhe gjendet në kufi me Maqedoninë\, karshi Gostivarit. Nën Vracë gjenden Shutmani dhe Radika\, vendi legjendar i Hajredin Pashës.\nPamjet nga Vraca janë Spektakulare\, e sidomos ditën me diell që sipas prognozës thuhet se do të jetë këtë të Diele. \nNisja do të bëhet nga Prishtina (fushat e tenisit) në orën 0700 të mengjesit\, dhe kthimi (nëse gjithçka shkon mirë) kah ora 2200. We will start from Hotel Arxhena in Brod\, Dragas.\nThis is the first time that we’ll organize a hiking trip to this mountain with a big group. The view from the top is Spectacular. This mountain stands between Kosovo and Macedonia in front of the city of Gostivar. \nThe level of difficulty is moderate with aprox 18 km (ascent and descent) land and snowy trail trekk\nTo reserve your seat please call 045 834 141 (viber) from 10 – 20 every day until Saturday 21st. \nWe will start with a bus at 0700 am Sunday morning (sharp) in front of the tennis courts in Pristina and come back at the same place around 22 00 pm.\nIn Prizren we will be in front of Bus station street at 0840h. \nHiking shoes are highly recommended for this hike.
