DESCRIPTION:International Theater Festival\, ‘’Prishtina International Theater Festival’’ – call for application \n  \nThe International Theater Festival PITF (Prishtina International Theater Festival) announces open the call for application of all theater companies that are interested in participating in the second edition of the PITF festival\, which will be held in the beginning of October 2018\, in Prishtina. \nPITF is a festival which is organized by AAB Theater ‘’Faruk Begolli’’ and AAB College in Prishtina\, Republic of Kosovo. \nIn the first edition\, which was held in 2017\, there was a participation of theatrical troops from Iran\, Bulgaria\, Bosnia and Hercegovina\, Croatia\, Albania and Italia. \nIn addition to the competing program\, PITF festival had also many events organized by AAB College\, in which many students and art lovers participated. \nTroops who are interested in applying\, must submit their application\, in: info@aab-edu.net ; where they must submit details of their play\, such as: institution (theater)\, text author\, play ensemble\, director\, scenography\, etc. \nThe call for application is going to be open until the 30th of March 2018.

In September of 2017 Joe released his sophomore album entitled Humanity\, the title\, imagery and music work in relationship to illuminate the idea of seeing and treating each other as human regardless of color\, creed or religion. \nOn March 7th\, Nexim Maxhuni “Homecoming” \nNesim Maxhuni – drums/concept (KS)\nJure Pukl – saxophone (SL/US)\nMarko Črnčec – piano (SL/US)\nArmend Xhaferi –guitar (KS)\nKiril Tufekcievski – bass (MK)\nSpecial guest: Ilir Bajri – piano (KS)\nSpecial guest: Visar Kuçi – guitar (KS) \nNesim Maxhuni’s ‘Homecoming’ project is a reflection of Maxhuni’s life and the experiences that have defined his journey upon this earth. The ‘Homecoming’ song\, from which the album takes its name\, is dedicated to Maxhuni’s feeling when he returned to Kosovo after the war to find a place destroyed\, but also fertile for hope and new life. The album was recorded in 2016 in Prishtina and includes the collaboration of prominent jazz musicians from New York’s jazz music scene with jazz musicians from Kosovo and from the region. By enabling such collaborations\, the project served to build bridges of mutual support and cooperation between Kosovar musicians on the one hand\, and global musicians on the other\, while the line-up of international jazz musicians coming to perform as part of the ‘Prishtina Winter Jazz Week’ established by Maxhuni are proof that such collaborative works can bring about concrete results. \n—————————————————————— \nPrishtina Jazz Week will take place at the ASK amphitheater at the heart of the city. \nThe first edition of the festival is one of many planned in the coming future\, where the hearts of Jazz fans and young-ins as well\, will unite for a Week full of unexpected sounds of A richness\, refusing to leave its throne as the top tier music of the world. \n————————–————————–————————–————————–————————–————– \nThe formation of Kult____Urë came as a result of a lack of originality at the surface of the entertainment scene in Prishtina.
